Clinical Orientation

Understanding of human development, the mind, and human interactions is my foremost passion in life. I continue to be fascinated by human’s psyche, capabilities, desires, and potentials and I find myself quite in touch and empathic towards individuals’s emotional pain, struggles, and concerns.
I am well versed in a variety of treatment approaches and have a diverse clinical background. My primary theoretical frame of reference is psychodynamic. I also employ other treatment approaches, including Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), family system theory, and humanistic approaches in order to meet the specific needs of my clients. I believe that people are unique and complex and often times unaware of the many forces that drive or limit them. My work goes beyond the targeting of certain symptoms. Instead, I aim to help people to find meaning and purpose in their lives, unlock their creative potentials, and strengthen their relationships with themselves and with others.
